The rooms are very old and dirty. (Lobby is bright and clean). Towels thread bare with visible dirt when held to light. Smelly stuffy room. Thermostat missing from wall. Visible dust on all edges of stained old carpet. Several areas of mold/mildew on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. Spiderwebs visible in the bathroom. Front desk somewhat friendly. Breakfast area clean.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. Ac worked well, good water pressure in the shower and it was in a good location, not too far away from everywhere we needed to be for a family event. Really wish there was a coffee pot in the room. Most hotels are removing them (I’m assuming due to theft) and it’s inconvenient to always need to go to another section of hotel when needing hot water or coffee.

Use to be a microtel.

I was in Fairmont WV for business and just needed a place to stay. The room was clean but some of the linens and towels were getting dingy and in need of replacement. The TV was very small but I don't care about that. I did not stay for the breakfast so I can't speak to that. Overall a clean place to stay that was inexpensive with name food options close my.

Poorly Trained Staff and low end property

Basic but fairly clean. Staff not trained and left alone. Front desk attendant had trouble checking me in, took her a while to figure out the software it seemed. I ask where the stairs were and she didn’t know (it’s a small hotel and they were just down the hall behind her). No hair dryer in room. They had to go find one in another room when I asked. The door handle in my room was installed upside down. They said several of them were that way. Breakfast looked awful, I skipped it. Would not stay here again.
