We had a lovely two-night stay at the Maldron in Brighton. The hotel felt really fresh and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly — everyone we spoke to was kind and helpful, which made such a difference. The rooms were a good size, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. We all said it felt quite posh for what we paid, like we’d lucked out. It honestly felt like one of those rare finds that’s a bit too good to last — we’ve already joked that next time it’ll probably be way out of our budget! All in all, a great stay. Would absolutely recommend it, especially if you catch it at the right price.

Modern, welcoming and great value

Great location for exploring, excellent service from all members of staff, welcoming, professional and efficient. Executive room spacious and comfy bed. Lovely to be offered so many complimentary drinks/ snacks in room. A few missing details would have enhanced our stay, wider variety of tv channels other than terrestrial, a towel rail to dry damp towels and a drawer or two to store stuff . Breakfast buffet offered huge variety for all tastes, was plentiful and well maintained at all times. Because bank holiday, we paid top price to stay (£210) however still considered good value and would definitely stay again!

Lovely new hotel, great location

Excellent city centre hotel. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The vinyl floor was nice from a cleanliness perspective however not so much in regard to noise from the room above, chairs scraping the floor at 2am. Perhaps some softeners on the chair legs would help? Breakfast was good but a lack of spreads for the toast was noted, other options like marmite, Nutella etc would be nice. Minor points though as overall the hotel is great and we would definitely stay again.

Very disappointing!!

After reading all the wonderful reviews on here was expecting the wow factor but it certainly wasn’t that! Check in girl miserable and same girl miserable on check out Advertise enjoy a few beers watching live football in the bar but weren’t showing the europa league final between 2 English clubs!! Asked the barmen why ? Shrug of the shoulder was enough Junior suite was ok but expected a lot more and have stayed at hotels with better normal rooms No satellite tv channels either Breakfast ok again expected to be able to order poached eggs etc I would not stay here again

Excellent location and we were given a room with a sea view. However the room was extremely hot and the air conditioning ineffective. There were just 5 coat hangers in a room designed for three people and absolutely no other storage space, i.e. drawers or shelves. Breakfast was adequate but we had to wait to be seated on both mornings, which is not usual. The room was cramped and small. All staff were helpful and friendly though. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I would choose another hotel next time.

Great Hotel in Ideal Location

1st time staying in Brighton & couldnt have picked a better hotel. Just off the seafront, (2 minutes walk yo the Brighton 360) in the perfect location for everything we wanted to visit. Bright, new, clean hotel with friendly staff & comfortable beds - our room was on 1st floor and we didnt hear any noise at all. Given didcounted parking in NCP car park (2 mins away) which was a bonus, £18 for 3 days parking!! 100% recommend & will definately be back!
