I was disappointed, I paid a reduced fee for an upgrade and now wish that I’d stuck to my original room. I found the bed uncomfortable, lumpy in places. The room wasn’t very clean, it had a dirty floor, my partners black top was covered in dust after we removed it from one of the high shelves. The seating had little bits of debris around the stitching and buttons. The bathroom and balcony were lovely. I was disappointed that there were too few supplies for our drinks, only 2 tea bags for 2 adults for the entire stay. The fridge was not working and didn’t keep anything cold. I was disappointed to have paid the amount of money that I did. I paid more as it was a special occasion and felt it was an average stay

A fabulous two day break

The hotel is wonderful, the rooms comfortable and the bed is sublime. Easy to take a bus into Brighton without having to drive and struggle to park a big advantage. The marina is lovely and peaceful.

It was my lack of research that I didn’t realise it was outside the centre of Brighton. The whole marina village area is quite soulless. However the rooms were super comfortable and quiet and you can catch the bus into town easily.

In our view it was overpriced for what we got. However, a lovely location at marina, with a very small balcony overlooking it. For nearly £1000 for 3 nights bed and breakfast I thought there would be a bit more 'care'. Room wasnt cleaned first day, air con didnt work properly despite reporting. Just OK.

We had a lovely 3 day stay & could of stayed longer, great position for us, car park handy for the hotel. Reception & staff lovely anything to help. Our room was a standard room with great air con, bathroom very good condition and excellent shower, the room was quite modern and had everything we needed, we enjoyed javing drinks on the bar overlooking the marina.

We were visiting Brighton for a university open day and wanted a hotel with easy parking. Malmaison was suggested by Hotels.com, it was a little more than I'd normally pay but I'm glad I did. The location is right on the marina above a string of restaurants so your dining options are great: Prezzo, Zizzi, Nandos, Five Guys and more. There's also a Maccies and Pizza hut about 2 mins walk away and it is very close to an Asda. You can't miss the car park, it is the Marina multi-story which is totally free ) I assume to bring custom to the marina). The hotel itself is very nice, modern, clean and spacious. The room was excellent, the TV had sky channels and the bathroom was very modern, with a wet room shower. The facilities included better quality tea and coffee than you normally get, such as fresh coffee bags and herbal teas. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel because it was £22 a person, so we went to the Wetherspoons just outside the door which was really good for a fraction of the price. Overall this hotel is exactly what I needed and good value. I'll probably be visiting Brighton again and would be happy to stay here.
