Very nice hotel, located in a convenient location walking distance to the Brisbane river and main sites. Everything felt very clean and nicely presented. There was a bit of extra space in the room for a sitting area next to the window. It was difficult to get the water temperature right in the shower - either felt too hot or too cold. We weren't provided any teaspoons to make coffee or tea. We were only provided with one 200ml mini carton of milk for 3 nights so ran out for our coffee by the last morning.

The Amora hotel was a luxurious place to stay. We were very comfortable for a 3 night stay. We wish we’d booked longer. Clean, contemporary and close to the city centre, and central station.

Good location, take care crossing nearby streets

Good room layout and nice renovations, but the threshold for the bathroom is higher so watch out if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle is the night. Great location to the CBD; however, there is no crosswalk to head to transit stops, so take care crossing the streets downhill from the hotel. There are regular screeching noises from the trains passing nearby; however, we were still able to get rest at night.

The room was reasonably expensive, but not even a bottle of water in the room, let alone mini-bar or drinkable coffee. I felt like I was staying in a cheap chain hotel. In the morning I couldn't get any coffee or breakfast (the only offer was buffet!)
