The studio room was spacious and had ample facilities such as washing machine dryer full size fridge dishwasher and plenty of cutlery and cooking pots. The apartments are conveniently located close to QPAC and the train station.

Not allowed to move out of room with cockroaches

Buckle in for this one. Regrettably, this was a horrific experience. First off, our terrace was littered with cigarettes, with burn holes on the couch inside and the seats on the terrace. Second, our apartment was infested with cockroaches. When we went to the front desk, Manon said you ah yes, had sprayed the day before, which should kill them, but the strong ones would have gone into our apartment. Horrific. I asked if we could switch rooms, she refused, and said only if there were still cockroaches the next morning. We had to sleep with them. Where I come from, if your hotel room is infested with vermin the size of your palm, you are given a new room and a refund. We were told to stay there. She gave us two glue traps without bait to set ourselves, and said a man would come to spray. We set up the traps, used our own bait, and waited for the man to come. When he did, he handed us a can of raid and left. We had to spray and remove multiple cockroaches ourselves. When I told the front desk about this, they said he didn't want to disturb you. We moved the next day, and were treated like this was an inconvenience. I was there for 10 days, and at every turn there was a problem- to all the above to not being told the correct gym hours so locked out. Pluses- they have an extensive parking garage and the second room was nice. When I come back I will not be staying with any of the CLLIX apartments.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay at Arena Apartments. The unit was large, clean and very comfortable. Communication with the staff was excellent. Location is unbeatable. Groceries, restaurants, museums, bus stops, South Bank parklands, train station, ferry station and even the city center were within walking distance.

Air conditioning turns itself off at night tv in bedroom I had to fix water and ice on fridge not working reception not really informative and there was a really strong chemical smell in the entry where the lifts are very off putting. Close to everything and we had a nice stay but there could be a few things they could work on

The property itself is decent, but the communication from workers over the phone if you're checking in after 5pm is very poor. Took an hour to check in and get car park. Not exceptable. I asked a couple that were in the lobby for help and they said there is at least once a week problem with guests checking in that they help. The couple were tenants of the apartments. Workers finish at 5pm, so if you're checking in after that time i definitely wouldn't recommend this place especially if you are trying to get car parking.
