This really is a low budget motel. No bathrooms in the room which I didn’t see in the ad. Maybe I missed that fact. Toilet and shower down the hall. Double bed (not queen) and really worn, soft mattress. The bed moved away from the wall during the night. Did not even supply real coffee for breakfast unless you call instant coffee coffee. We arrived 9:30 pm so no staff on site. After hours check in was smooth.

We loved our overnight stay at the Ascot Budget Inn - we’d previously stayed in a double room at a different location but this stay was at a different address around the corner. Very easy to check in after hours (after a late night flight) using their lock box and the room was very neat and clean. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus with the basics (weetbix, cornflakes, Nutri grain, fruit and yoghurt and toast with spreads). Staff were very friendly at check out and we’d definitely stay again in future as location is great (nice pub across the road too)

Family getaway

Hotel has 2 locations we went to the wrong one. We hadn’t checked our emails while on holidays so didn’t realise. Luckily it wasn’t far to walk to the next block. Hotel was handy to the airport and Eat street. Clean and tidy with bathroom separating the two bedrooms. Balcony was a great space. Noisy neighbours in the adjoining rooms.

Staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly, walking distance to everything, great location, room was very clean, absolutely nothing was an issue, would happily stay there again Close to train station, shops, restaurants and every time we caught a Uber it was there within 3mins, very good location

This property displays a notice which reads guests must wash used crockery or be charged a $50 cleaning fee. The mugs in the crockery draw were used by the previous guest and left unwashed. The cleaners obviously did not wash the mugs either. Otherwise the room was fine, beds comfortable and the shower good. It’s a short drive to major supermarkets and Eagle Farm race course. Also convenient to the Tangalooma resort ferry wharf.
