Not as nice as pictures, but comfortable beds.

The bed was very comfortable. The place was very drab, not at all as shown in pictures. The common areas stunk of cigarettes, pest control was an issue. It is a decent motel, but the high rating is not deserved.

Motel provided clear instructions for late check in (6:30pm)- which was fine. Upon arrival, find truck is parked in main drive way blocking entrance to car park and entry way. Light in bedroom did not work. Room basic and meets needs. Good air conditioner. Hot shower. Good shared facillities (kitchen etc).

Only stayed one night but it was lovely. I was able to drop my bags off quite early and go out for the day before check in, which was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice and clean, air conditioned, and had lots of space.

I really enjoyed my stay at the City Star Lodge. The location is great - short walk to the foot bridge over the river to the city. Parking was easy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
