We consider ourselves so lucky to have found this little gem in the heart of Brisbane. Large roomy apartment with comfy king bed , kitchen, and balcony overlooking greenery and city views. Safe parking in garage under building. Walkable to everywhere including the beautiful botanical gardens. Our check in clerk was so incredibly nice. Highly recommend!

I had a one-night stay before flying home out of Brisbane Airport. The welcome at Il Mondo was warm and friendly. They were very accommodating of my early arrival, especially on a holiday. The hotel is well placed for walking around central Brisbane or for taking the CityHopper up or down river. My only complaint was the use of a scented reed diffuser in the room itself — one, I didn’t like the scent, and two, it’s not really best practices for asthma/allergy.

This place was great.. only negative, a lot of noise from the Storey Bridge Hotel… but it was New Years Eve so it was all part of the experience. Hosts are lovely.

What a lovely surprise this property is. Very impressed with the rooms, a little dated but such attention to the little extras that made it special. So handy near some good eating out options. We had a take away from the Japanese restaurant on site, outstanding!
