The only complaint was when we got to the room, the curtains were open and the room was fully in afternoon sun. It was so hot! Then the air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own. Room 525. It would get hot. Then super cold. All through the night!!! Needs attention.

Location to Southbank parklands and it's.dinning options is great! Now staying in a hotel, the rooms makeup 70 percent of a person overall experience, now when you're paying top dollar for a room your expecting to be clean and if it's not it will leave you disgruntled. As it surely did for us, my wife and daughter spent most of the night awake with sinus allergies, and on close inspection, there was dust buildup on the headboards, skirting,boards, ceiling air intakes was cake with dust as it hasn't been cleaned in weeks, there was thick scale and mould around the shower screen. Now, with 20yrs previous experience in hospitality at management level, ,there are two things you have to get right constantly, cleanliness and service. Sorry but you fail on cleanliness!

The property only has 3 parking spaces in front with no dedicated valet parking service. So when you arrive by private car you have to wait for a parking spot to open up before you can unload and then walk into reception to arrange valet parking. Tried ringing the property prior to arrival but the offsite AI automated service was useless.

We had a lovely stay at the Mantra! The only issue was that I picked it because we needed parking... i didn’t notice anywhere that it would be extra ($40?) dollars to use the park. Thankfully we accessed a free park at a friend's hotel for the duration. Otherwise the Mantra is comfortable, amazingly located, with very awesome staff. Also plenty of tea and coffee and sugar etc ( in contrast to many other hotels). Thank you, Mantra!

It was close to the Convention Centre. The amentities in the room was sparse. The bottles in the shower and bathroom had not been refilled. there were no extra pillows or blankets

The unit was clean. No lounge and facilities were to say limited. Monday the bar area of the mantra was CLOSED. The room we had 729, was basic and view of the railway line. Cutlery consisted of knives, forks, one tea spoon and no spoons, 2 mugs. For the price we paid I find it very expensive.
