Southbank getaway

Right place, wrong time

This is value for money accommodation walking distance from the city centre & the entertainment/food areas at South Bank. We had the unusual occurrence of the fire alarm going off which was triggered by nearby council road works, the concern was there seemed to be no onsite assistance as to what the original problem was so people were left sitting around @ 11:00pm for quite a long time without knowing if there was a danger or not. Hopefully there was a lesson learnt by the management.

Property was close to everything and great breakfast. They should post the internet wifi details on the wall or on a card on the desk in the room. When I went and complained, I watold it was on the TV which was supposed to be turned on when I came in. So you are supposed to know to turn the TV on if it is not on and hunt for it on the TV, which is a bit far fetched.
