Hotel was wonderfully located across from botanical gardens/riverwalk and also near the heart of CBD ( best of both worlds, not in the middle of the hustle bustle but only a few minutes walk to it). Staff was friendly and parking easy. Only downside is property is a bit on the older side but still clean.

Beautiful spot right in the park. I enjoyed my views of it. Note that the pool is not heated & shaded for most of the day so is very cold in the cooler months. I think it still would have been lovely in June if we’d been in the sun.

A really decent central location, plenty of short-walking distance places to visit and shop at. The rooms were nice and clean with a good size shower and plenty of hot water for our party of 3. The buffet breakfast is a good solid start to the day affair and had some great fresh tropical fruits and juices to compliment the full buffet. The bar was a little dark and small, but had a decent range of drinks and cocktails. Overall a good place to base your stay in Brisbane for a few days.

From check in to check out, all staff interacted with with professional, helpful and friendly. It was very much a pleasure staying at this hotel. Room: spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable bed. Bar: friendly staff and excellent selection of both drinks and bar food. Restaurant: ate here only one evening. Very good menu and wine selection. Excellent service. Thank you to all staff encountered and to housekeeping for a great job.

We had thought about staying here many times and finally booked. We were not disappointed. A lot of history and charm. Good service, very quiet rooms. Very comfortable and such a great location!

Originally our room was very hot, but they gave us a couple of fans which really worked well. After the first night the air conditioning seemed to work better.
