Liked the location being across the road from the botanic gardens. Was quite dirty in the room and complex, empty tissue box was never replaced, water pressure was not consistent, broken toilet roll holder fell on my young child so I had to take it off (it was dangling precariously) but housekeeping kept putting it back instead of getting someone to fix it.
Thank you so much for a relaxing safe stay. I am so thankful, i left my car window down and staff were so kind as to contact me.

Great value
We love the location and service but it does need some care. We had trouble with the TV and the PowerPoint behind the tv cabinet was falling out of the wall and it was very dirty back there! Otherwise it was great, as usual.
Staying for a seminar. The location is excellent at the city of Brisbane. It’s across the park 5 minutes to the bridge to walk over to the other side of the river. About 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. It’s 7 minutes to the plaza full of shops and restaurants transits close by 15 minutes walk to the newer casino. The hotel staff are friendly. Good environment for conference and vacation stay as well.
Stayed with my friend for a catch up. I love this place. Beds are amazing. I try to stay here as much as i can when i visit. Love love love this place. Close to mall, botanical gardens are right there, good buffet breaky. Room service good. Thanks for having us.
Staff went above and beyond. Came early and was in a room within 2 hours. Outside your door is a welcoming Botanical Gardens and easy access to the river walks. Was raining very hard and an umbrella was furnished. Need a corrected pedicure and information was provided about the nearest ones that were within walking distance. From early check in to check out quality customer service with a smile.
Breakfast was good. Standard late checkout of 11am good. That’s about it.
Would have been a nice hotel in its heyday but really showing its age, especially the carpet and the stale smell.
Booked 3 rooms for extended family - not a small amount of money… Two rooms had major issues including very noisy air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, toilet spraying water all over when it flushed (and only “fixed” by wrapping a towel around the leak). Our room had no conditioner and no hand soap. When you flushed our toilet, the water went all over the seat. The doona covers are those ridiculous ones that are not enclosed so they end up on the floor after you sleep and you’re sleeping under a bare doona - wonder how often they are washed …?
The bar staff were very inexperienced spilling over-filled soft drinks and tap beer all over without apologies and without cleaning up after themselves, forgetting cutlery with food, plonking CLOSED bottles of wine and cans of beer on the table (RSA?!) and not pouring into glasses - really zero “service” and this was not just once but every time we were served. Plenty of staff hanging around doing very little other than chatting. Seems to be no supervision by anyone who had any clue.
