I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Hotel with it's old traditional style with modern facilities. Perfect location where it's in a nice quiet part of the CBD. Plenty of overnight parking and a convenient pool/garden area. Will definitely enjoy staying here again on my next visit to Brisbane.

Was so beautifully decorated and full of old world charm and character. Great location with botanical gardens across the road, shops a short walk away. Buffet breakfast was amazing, have never seen such a huge variety at any buffet breakfast before! Would definately stay here again.

Staff need to remember to advise that breakfast bookings are needed. We turned up not realising and nowhere to sit. Very small, cramped dining room for such a big hotel.

Overall, the location was great to walk around downtown and right across from the awesome Botanic Gardens. The pool was good for our kids. One awkward part was walking through the conference area hallway in your swim gear to get to the pool. The bathroom shower was tricky and only had half a glass door, so water spills onto the floor. I would change it to a shower curtain. Check out was a long line up, consider going modern with digital self check out options. The food prices were too expensive in the main restaurant so we tried the lounge - the tables to eat are very low. Food was good but we found it expensive. Overall, an average hotel. I would rank it a 3.5 star model.
