Chrishelle on the reception was excellent and very helpful, always with a smile on her face. The other reception staff were also very helpful and friendly but I got to know Chrishelle well. My only gripe was that, as an international traveller, I had to use adaptor plugs which had the problem of turning the plug sockets off if I plugged them in fully. Also, there were no USB sockets near the bed (I did not see the USB sockets underneath the desk in the room). A recommendation would be to include a more comfortable chair in the room as this is supposed to be a double room but it only has one chair. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat even more so if it had a breakfast service.

Overall The Constance was great. The staff were friendly and efficient and the location is super handy there are just a few things for travellers to be aware of - the room is very compact (everything you need is included but it is very small) and even though great measures have been taken by the hotel to minimise the noise, it was still very loud (until around 3am). But I guess that’s what you get when choosing a hotel right in the heart of the Valley.

This was a small room that was just fine for an overnight stay. Close to the city. The parking is a block and a half away so only suitable if you only have a small amount of luggage.

Check in was friendly, quick and easy. The location was great, close to lots of dinning spots and bars. The room was nice enough and comfortable enough, my only complaint was that the bathroom smelt a bit like sewerage. It wasn’t enough to smell with the door closed, but enough to notice while in the bathroom. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were on level 2 our room was just above the Osborne pub and the noise of the disco waa very loud indeed and didnt stop unitl 4am.

The Constance is a quirky little property that was reasonably priced for a very short stay. It was a 5-minute walk to Fortitude Valley Music Hall, which was great. There are loads of interesting food outlets nearby by. I'm sorry to say I dropped my brand new, full bottle of foundation on the bathroom floor - It smashed and the contents went everywhere on the tiles. I tried to clean it up - sorry, whoever had to clean the rest up!
