Things going downhill.
We have been regulars at the point but won’t be going back. We choose the point for location,ev charging but the hotel does enforce ev you parking bays so everybody park there and won’t move them. Since last visit they now only have buffet at $42 ! They are also now charging $20 for parking which often have no spots available. Rooms that face onto the expressway are extremely noisey and not good for sleeping. What was a great getaway hotel is now disappointing won’t be back.

The hotel was nice enough, clean enough but could stand to be modernised. The room smelled a bit funky -maybe the carpet had recently been cleaned? The pool was lovely and the staff were all very friendly. There is no airport shuttle despite what it says on the website. The website is very hard to navigate, I couldnt find information on the pool or gym, it felt like a secret! Also I still don’t know what The Eagles Nest is!

Have stayed at this hotel in the past & liked location & rooms. This time however I was allocated an unrenovated room facing very busy loud road and room though tidy bathroom definitely needs work & lighting. Signage indicated patience required due to computer upgrade & it was required, every question required time as did check in.

The Piont Hotel left us with an out standing experience. The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating especially Summer and the Dining staff. One may find the food menu is a little pricey when viewing but you won’t be disappointed as the meals are worth the price, freshly prepared and delicious. The table staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. I was extremely impressed to have found that Summer from reception organised a generous Birthday gift. A bottle of champagne, some chocolates and a nice Birthday card awaiting on our check-in. Thank you for a wonderful experience and as this was our second visit we are delighted to have returned. We would absolutely recommend The Piont Hotel for a stay.

We were in a high grade room so review based on that. All good. But noisy road, but not big issue. Staff all exc. Breakfast good, some will moan about price. Could do with block out curtains where the blinds are, as they are fairly useless. But all minor points. Excellent generally.
