The pictures on Wotif were overly generous!!! The bedding had stains, the bulb from the bedside lamp was hanging, there was mould on the roof of the bathroom, mozzies and ants everywhere in the room, air conditioning didn't work properly, so had to be turned off on a cold night, stains on carpet, hole in wall, gaffa tape around the windows. It was woeful- and we had to stay for two nights!!!! Never again!!

The photos on Wotif were overly generous. As it was after 6pm, I had to collect the keys from the bar. According to the sign out the front, I had just missed the Topless Girls, who are there on Wednesday to Saturday. We then went to our room- there were stains on the bedcover, stains on the sheets, hair in both beds, stains all over the carpet, mould on the roof of the bathroom, ants and mosquitos, the window was taped around the outside with gaffa tape, the air conditioner didn't work properly, so had to be turned off (on a cold night), the bulb was hanging from the bedside lamp there was a small hole in the wall that could have been fixed, but wasn't. It was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed and would not recommend it.

DON’T DO IT - TOO MANY MOZZIES! We entered our room to find over 15 mozzies in the room and a can of spray near the door so it’s an obvious problem. Killed as many as we could but still managed to get bitten multiple times (and both myself and my daughter are allergic). Went to staff to see if there were any other options or cleaner rooms but apparently its a known issue, can’t be fixed and they were fully booked - we were even told by staff that they wouldn’t even stay here because of the conditions and could only offer bug spray and told to email in the morning. We had an early flight so we’re checking out early, ended up waking up multiple times through the night getting bitten as more mozzies were coming in even after spraying and having to sleep with the aircon on! Room was below standard/small, only 2 towels provided for 4 people (luckily we weren’t planning to all shower in the AM), in a very industrial area but the main issue was the mozzies! Would not stay again or recommend. Staff overall were friendly and genuinely wanted to help but had no solutions so I can’t rate it higher than a 2

Nice clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed and chairs etc. Tavern was very pleasant and food was well presented, tasty and good value. Canned Guinness was fine and wine by the glass selection was good and fairly priced. Good parking.
