It’s had its day. The place is regal , but dark, no flowers , no joy. Huge room, but dark and nothing to fill the space. The staff were sweet and could not fault them at all.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Very easy to walk to South Bank, the Botanical Gardens and walks along the river. Very quiet room even though we're in the heart of the city. Loved the old sandstone heritage building and how it's been maintained. The lifts did not work.

Fantastic stay. Rooms very comfy and clean. Shower pressure great with temperature control. Staff just lovely. Has real charm and old place like this. Food and bars great. Easy walking to local bars, restaurants, casino and South Bank Lifts weren’t working up from carpark was just a minor inconvenience
