Room was small but clean and very comfortable. Bar and restaurant are very nice. Dinner was good but not great, lacked flavour for me. Breakfast was very good. Ales were excellent! Staff were great. Overall a nice place, plenty of parking enjoyable stay.

Interesting old pub with good real ale. Evening dinner was very good but I found the full English breakfast a little disappointing. Bacon should be back and not two small rashers of streaky. The sausage was tough to break in to. The rest was okay. The room was spacious and had all the facilities. Would recommend for an overnight stay although you will need satnav to find it.

This was a great place to stay, small but lots of attention to detail and the staff were so accommodating. The room was quirky and well decorated. The selection of food was good and seemed to be excellent quality and beautifully cooked and presented. Would stay again!
