GLORIOUS! Stunning property, very comfortable, great bedding and shower, and delicious breakfast with wonderful sweet fresh orange juice. We were given room 425, with a great view of the rooftops of the old town, with views of two major cathedrals and the Grote Markt Belfry. There was a light show displayed on the Belfry in the evening, which we could watch from our room! Windows open, fresh cool breeze, no mosquitoes - just heavenly! Bruges in fantastic and I hope to return soon.

Tired, not what I would class as 5 stars. One lift out of order so stairs to room - nobody available to carry them out. Proprety very dated. Lumpy mattress. Lots of scrapes on walls. Could hear all the toilet and shower drains. Needed a real bit of love as property itself was pretty on the outside and staff were friendly - mostly.

Hotel and staff amazing but we do not recommend our room - the family suite, 2 bedrooms, 700ft. Of the 3 windows, 2 are straight at a wall the other is a bedroom right next to the entrance, noisy and observed. Also maintenance could be better, 2 safes not working on arrival, air-con too cold and couldn’t be fixed for the whole of our 6 night stay and lights flickering. Still a beautiful hotel, just not this room.
