Property is clean and staff friendly. Only issue so far is with parking, as there isn’t parking for vehicles over 20yrs - we have a roof box, but staff were helpful in providing suggestions though it is a bit of a walk and we are are little apprehensive of safety as it’s our first time here.

Amazing old property close to the centre of Bruges. Very nice staff and a great omelette for breakfast. Only suggestion would be that the address of the nearest public parking garage were given on the site otherwise one can find oneself driving on roads one shouldn’t - bad job Apple Maps.

Friendly staff in ideally situated hotel
Arrived late evening and the lady on reception was waiting for us. Showed us to our ground floor room, which was spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast was appreciated and all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Boterhuis is ideally situated, close to the Markt square and main tourist attractions. There was some noise from the street outside, but that's to be expected in a city. Overall, very satisfied with our stay

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basic but very clean. Very nice bathroom. Stairs to go up to rooms were very steep, narrow and winding- they were dangerous to navigate. Website advertised onsite parking but it was in fact in a parking garage a few streets over. It was very difficult to get in and out of. They also advertised a fridge in the room, but there was in fact no fridge.

Lovely boutique hotel. Large comfortable room and a good breakfast included. The only downsides were there is no lift so if you are at the top of the hotel as we were it's a bit of a struggle carrying luggage up the steep stairs, and there was building work next door so we were woken up earlier than we liked.

Good hotel, everything you need for a comfortable stay and staff go the extra mile. No bar despite one being advertised and rooms aren’t very sound proof. Rooms have everything you need but are no thrills However, breakfast was great and hotel only advertises itself as a 3star b&b and it more than delivers. Great location too

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Couldn't do enough to help when our journey was disrupted by french strike action, causing us to be late. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location.

Book quadruple room that showed different pictures than what is actually provided. Room located in the room across reservation desk. It’s double bed and 2 rolling beds. Room is big but not what was described in Expedia. Road noise, guest checking in/out, noise from people come and go. Can’t sleep at all.
