Beautifully appointed hotel. While the building clearly has some history, it is very clean and stately. Depending on where your room is located, you might have and interesting journey to get there, through winding and/or sloping hallways, lifts, back passageways, etc. My room was lovely and modern, found the bed to be very comfortable. Of particular note during my stay: I became ill at the beginning of my 3-night stay here, and the front desk staff were absolutely lovely in helping me seek out medical treatment, and one receptionist personally prepared a hot tea tray, complete with honey and lemon for my very sore throat. Very much appreciated, while far from home.

The location is amazing and the hotel is an island of tranquility. We were in the annex (not main building) and our room was large, quiet, amply outfitted with storage, chairs and a mini fridge. Large bathroom. Very clean throughout. Incredibly convenient to explore Bruges. We would definitely recommend highly….. and would return!

Perfect, centrally located hotel for our weekend trip. Parked the car and easily walked everywhere in and around the city center. Yes, the hotel has a bit of a funky layout but staff is top notch and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again next time we’re in town.

Quiet area but easy walk to the main square and local restaurants. Staff helpful and the bar was a relaxing area. Good jazz pianist on Fridays evenings. Breakfast good. Dinner not offered but limited snacks in evening in bar. Rooms clean and more than adequate. Didn't try the wellness centre or gym but looked clean, pool smaller than anticipated. Would stay there again.

This hotel was excellent in every way apart from the fact there was building work going on outside, although it was only during the day it spoilt it a little bit. Once this is finished it will be brilliant.
