Our reservation included a very delicious breakfast buffet, and transfer to the airport, both without an additional fee. However, there was no pickup from the airport to the hotel.

Hotel is located just off town square. Clean, well maintained and quiet. Room was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast had much from which to choose. Coffee / Expresso was excellent. Restaurants and shops all within short walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Turnhout area.

We stayed here as it was close to the airport and provided a shuttle service. Note that the shuttle only operates in the morning and not afternoon time. Also, there is a bar and restaurant at this location, however, the waitress advised us that the food on the menu was all frozen and was microwaved as ordered since this was an express Holiday Inn. She suggested we go to the Holiday Inn location a few mins walk (that wasn’t an express location) as they have a restaurant there so we did that. In terms of the hotel, it is clean, the room was nice, and staff was friendly.

Nothing round the property other than other hotels. However, a 10 minute walk takes you to the local train station for onward travel to Brussels (15 mins) or the airport(10 mins).

The property has recently been refurbished, and it is still spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.The only negative was that the parking fee was too high

Overall the hotel is fine, good condition, clean, modern facilities. The staff is superb, extremely helpful. The reason for not giving a rating of 5 is because of the shuttle service to the airport. I chose this property because they have a shuttle running from 4:00 am and we needed to be at the airport at around 5:30 am. Well, we couldn't use the shuttle at the end since the pick up location is about a block from the main entrance -the shuttle is a big bus that service several hotels and it couldn't turn in a small round about in front of the hotel-. It happens that the day we needed the shuttle it was raining heavily and that combined with the fact that my husband can not stand for long prevented us from using the service. A taxi to the airport, even though the hotel is not far away cost us about €30.
