Lovely woman who checked us in ! spoke to us all about the area and where’s best to travel (and recommended an brilliant waffle house) , excellent customer service and breakfast spread was also every accommodating, would recommend to anyone travelling to brussels and needs close access to brussels-midi as it’s a max 20 min walk
3 lads over to watch Royal Union - we failed to realise the match was 30 miles away in Leuven.For what we wanted the hotel ticked the boxes.Area close by - St Gilles - good for pubs and restaurants.About a 15 minute walk from Midi/Zuid station ( Eurostar)
Lovely hotel! Only problem is that it’s a bit far from the centre.

I accidentally booked a room for two when I only wanted a single. I messaged this hotel, who didn't answer my query and were only interested in being paid. My card company had stopped my card due to fraud. This hotel suggested I send the details of another card by Expedia message, where it says "do not send credit card details with Expedia messages". By this time I had lost faith in them and didn't want to stay there. However, they held me to ransom by refusing to cancel my booking. They understand that as a result of that I will be giving them a bad review, so here it is. They are clearly not interested in my repeat business and they should not get yours.
Very cozy and comfortable hotel. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent.
Recommendations for local restaurants were useful and we were very satisfied all round :-)

Disappointing experience.
I don't think the walls are the best ones. We heard pretty much everything . I only slept 2h the night I was there.
Breakfast was ok.
Considering the distance from downtown, would not stay there again

Breakfast was lovely and so was the lounge area :)
The staff were really accommodating and sweet, and we really appreciated them and the tasty breakfast. The room, however, was really disappointing. The carpet was in desperate need of replacement - and looked so dirty it made us feel uncomfortable on entering and the heat was so stifling - even with an extra fan! We were very uncomfortable, unable to sleep and there was nothing we could do. The phone to reception didnt work. The windows wouldnt stay open and were right onto the street below. We had to request the wifi to be reset at least 4 times. This was supposed to be a treat for my daughter and it was a complete letdown in that regard. You dont want to check in and complain especially when the staff were so nice and there was nothing else they could do...
