The word ‘quirky’ was invented for this entertaining establishment - we’re not sure why it’s called Mozart Hotel, as it’s decorated from top to bottom like an oriental palace. We like unusual hotels, and this hit the spot for the teenagers who couldn’t get enough instagramming the decorations and the little Riad-style garden. Having said that, the rooms could do with freshening up, but as we weren’t in Brussels for staying in, it was all good and comfortable. Topped by the unfailing friendliness and attention of the staff, and a fresh, free continental breakfast, we had a great time. Plus a super location and a value price.

Location was awesome! Steps from grand palace and all the shops! Amazing. Decor was with. Old colors and patterns, may be a throw off for some people. If you can tolerate for a day or two, you will be fine. The owner was nice. Clean but small bathroom. Will go there again!

Sujeto racista y grosero dice ser el dueño

Pésima atención del que se autonombra "patrón" tipo despota, grosero, engreído y altanero. Queriéndome callar y gritar por nada. Tipo nefasto, este hotel lo ha de haber heredado porque no lo cuida, con su actitud se nota que no le costó y no le importa. Y al final condicionando una buena reseña, que cinismo! Terrible experiencia, habitaciones pequeñas, camas que rechinan, sin ventiladores ni AC aunado al tipo racista = pesadilla.

A boutique hotel with the most amazing ornate Moroccan decor, carvings and tile from floor to ceiling. Beautiful furniture and paintings all throughout the hotel. A masterpiece of artistic decorating!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The room was very dirty. I found a ball of hair between the bed and the nightstand. It was very small, so two people couldn't walk around at the same time. It didn't have air conditioning. The room window overlooked the street, and the noise at night was unbearable. The decor was extremely ornate, Indian-Rococo. Breakfast was served early; by the time you got downstairs, the bread was already cold and half-hard. We arrived before check-in time. We asked if they could give us the room, and they said no because they were full. We understood. But then they asked us for €20 to give us the room. We decided to go to lunch while we waited for check-in, and they didn't want to keep our bags safe either. Oh, I asked for payment at the time of stay; check-in is at 3 p.m., but the charge was made around 3 a.m. to our credit card, and we were going to pay in cash. In short, the only good thing was the proximity to Brussels Central Station, which is approximately 250m away.

Quirky Hotel in a Great Location

The hotel was very interesting and quirky. The room we stayed in was clean. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, and the staff were pleasant. The lift was probably the smallest one we had ever seen and we had to go in seperately when carrying our bags, but it just added to the charm of the hotel. There were times we took the stairs, just to see new things throughout the building. The location of the hotel was great and there were plenty of options for food nearby. It was a fun experience and we would go back for a longer stay.

A mixed bag, depends on what you're looking for.

This hotel is a mixed bag. On the plus side, you have the great location, the friendliness of the owner if you are greeted by him, the more than decent included breakfast, and above all that the incredible pseudo-Sevillan decoration, the history of which I'm sure the owner would be happy to tell you if you ask. On the minus side : the rooms would need some careful renovation, the bathroom was old and clearly needs an upgrade, the hotel is quite noisy (you can hear your neighbours or people passing by your door quite easily. A nice experience, but not one I would do again, time will tell. Your mileage may vary, it really depends on what you're looking for.

It is a cozy hotel just some steps to the grand Place, the first impression of the hotel was amazing, but when you arrive to the room, everything change, very awfull, unconfortable, it has a balcony, but it’s bloked with the bed, poorly can walk, no outlet to charge the phones, tv out of service, very dark with poor light, too noisy during the night.
