The room was big. The hotel was overall good. Fairly close to the train station. I wouldn't say i felt unsafe, but i dont know crime in brussels. Maybe if i was a solo woman it would be different. Tons of trash and graffiti... but I'm not from brussels so i don't know if that's bad.
The Hotel is about a 10 min walk from Bruxelles Midi station. Leave by the main entrance and walk through the bus stops. Keep going across the main road. The streets are a bit grimy.
The hotel is obvious and clean. The desk was staffed at 23:00 when I arrived. The room on he tiop floor was clean but a bit dull. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a walk in shower with good water heat and pressure. The bathroom was very clean.
As I left at 07:20 for a train I saw little of the interior but the breakfast area looked inviting.
Area around the hotel felt very unsafe. Would not feel comfortable wondering around past sundown, was bad enough during the day. We got locked in a shop when trying to purchase a drink! The locals put the shutters down, trapping us unside. Very unnerving! Run down dirty place - would never return to Brussels! Stay away from Brussels for lesuire purposes. Find somewhere else. Honest feedback.
Clean hotel, welcoming staff hospitable lobby area. Room tightly effecient. Good big window helped the lack of ac. Neighbour lacks some typical ammenitues. More clothing ect wholesale than resto cafe bars.. not great walking area.
The property is visually appealing, with spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff.
On the downside, the surrounding area feels chaotic and crowded, with a noticeable presence of people and activities that might not align with typical European expectations. While this atmosphere might be common in certain regions, it is surprising to encounter it here in Europe.
The staff are nice and helpful. The hotel is good and clean. But when you walk out the hotel. You have to pay the highest attention. I like the car park too . It’s safe and it’s suitable for road triper.
The hotel was OK, the evening staff was terrible. The person at the front desk was very rude, and seem bothered by questions, I thought it was a bad day but the next day she was there and had an attitude. Also the room we had been assigned the night before was the room that was being used for bathroom use since the bathroom in the lobby was not working (this was the story that was given to us).
There didn't seem to be any Air conditioning in our room. We looked around the room for an AC control. We saw the vent but not a controller/thermostat. There was a freestanding fan in the room so that was my other clue there was not AC in this room.
The art work and the overall decor of the property was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.
Also had a luggage room where we could store our large bags until leaving later in the day.
The room for families was wonderful, the beds comfortable as a cloud. Staff were very nice, restaurant a bit slow for service and foods limited, but super friendly. Neighborhood looks rough but the people are nice.
Convenient location, close to the centre.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
The only downside was the room was hot but there is fan to use.
Also there is no tea/coffee making facilities or fridge in the room.
But overall a nice place to stay.
