Very good at being no frills

This is a basic, "does a fine job at a good price" place to stay. No frills anywhere, but really well situated, comfortable bed, decent breakfast.

Best part of the hotel is it is in the heart of the city. You can reach main square of the city by 2 mins of walk. However, it is NOT a proper place for families. There is literally no place to put your luggage inside the room. And also no place to put your clothes. If you will stay more than 2-3 days, it might be a problem.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Tons of dining and shopping options. Great transportation around. Very walkable area and near some great attractions. Now the hotel itself? Not great. My room was never cleaned. Not once did housekeeping show up. The carpets were in terrible condition. Some staff were nice, others not so much. All in all, I wouldn’t stay again.

Wonderful location. Rooms very small. Was in 3 person room, no place to fit all of our luggage. Had to access on bed, then close and stand in closet which if front panel of closet was removed the luggage could have been placed on floor or luggage rack. There for 1 night, wasn't going to hang clothes. Otherwise, breakfast buffet had excellent variety of foods & drinks. Staff respectful and eager to help. Fine place except small rrom

Belgium trip.

Seeing that it was my first time to Belgium, the visit was pretty. I am recovering from an injury and by design or faith I was given the ground floor. Which made it even better especially with the hotel’s bar just around the corner. The staff was friendly and informative and the location is ideal again, with a lower body injury the location gave a lot more scope for venturing out. All in all it was a really good fit and I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is two minutes away from Brussels Central station and two minutes away from Grand Palace. It was very easy to get around Brussels and base ourselves at the hotel. We had a problem with the power in our room and the staff were very helpful and fixed it straight away. The room we were in did look a bit tired paint wise but everything else was fine. Even though we were in the centre, it was very quiet on a night outside. There were some people in the corridors making noise one night, but that isn’t the fault of the hotel. Overall would recommend this hotel for its convenience above everything else.

Great location and super value for your money.

Superb location in Old Town near train station. Great staff. Really great breakfast buffet with hot and cold buffet. Best I had in any hotel. Highly recommend this hotel. Great value for money. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Hotel wasn’t what I expected it to be. Despite saying it’s non smoking, the property had places that smelled off cigarette, like the lifts, hallway, our room!! And we don’t smoke. And we had a twin room, it was the worse place I ever stayed at. Room felt so claustrophobic, it was sooo small that I felt like we were given kids room!!! Two adults and their luggage and two suitcases cannot fit in that room, honestly it was sooo small, there was no room to manoeuvre. The beds were small, probably 80cm or something and not only it was WAY too small for an adult, it was squeaky, you cannot turn around if you’re lying flat otherwise you would fall off. And on top the mattress and the mattress topper kept moving so halfway through the night you’re hanging off the bed frame. And everytime we went out and came back to our room after the cleaning staff have been our room smelled of cigarettes! It was the most disgusting smell to come back to. The 4 nights that we stayed there I don’t think our room was vacuumed once! Then comes the breakfast, overall it was okay however if you’re a vegetarian then you probably should consider anything breakfast option because you won’t get any hot food option here! Finally, if you’re booking a normal room then you probably want to take a flask with you because you won’t have a kettle in your room to make tea or anything. You’ll be ask to go to reception or the bar and they will provide it for you. I would never EVER stay at another ibis again!
