The property was very busy. Check in was easy and quick we ate both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant-it was delicious! We walked to the rodeo and shops across the street. The entrance to Bryce Canyon is just a few minutes up the road.

No elevator in deer lodge building.

Overall, hotel was nice. However, when we booked room, there was nothing online that indicated we would not be in the main lodge building. Our room was located in a separate building ( deer lodge) which had no elevator. We have a son with special needs so climbing stairs was an issue. For this reason, we would not stay again unless we were guaranteed a room in main building with an elevator.

Staff not that friendly. Tried to book in early and was told the room would definitely be ready by 4pm so we went away for 2 hours and returned. Then told they weren't sure if room was ready but for me to check. Good breakfast, good night's sleep made up for lack of help from staff. Cleaning crews very polite and all said hello.

We liked the property. Enjoyed being on the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. I feel that the stores and restaurant need to be open until 10. That would be nice. Also it was difficult to get into the gym. Maybe a few more directions for this. I liked having free coffee. Maybe a better location for this- in the lobby? Overall enjoyed our stay.

A tremendous amout of people when we checked in. I think it was for the Half Marathon the following morning. Even with all the people, they moved very quickly with check in and also at dinner. Very good experience

Address on Expedia goes to wrong hotel. Ruby is an Inn that is currently under construction. Lady at counter wasnt very friendly or helpful. Told us where to park she was wrong. Parking lot is dirt. The "Lake view" is a small retention pond looking thing and there was an escavator blocking the view the whole time. This is an old motel. Cheaply updated over the years. Its load with people coming and going. Beds are dirty and outdated.
