Loved the location! Beautiful area at the river, with old fashioned gliders and a swing. People were grilling out and there was a fire pit. Don’t expect luxury it’s pretty rustic and could use some sprucing up outside (doors were all weathered and peeling paint) but inside was pretty good. The bathroom looked like it had been redone recently. No hairdryer. Small coffee maker makes about 2 cups. Bed was pretty comfortable pillows were kinda flat and there were only two. Parking right outside the door so that was convenient. Had to ring doorbell about three times waited about 5 minute for owners to come and let us in to check in but after that it was ok. Might stay again. Loved the view enough to visit again.

The motel itself was nothing like the pictures on the website, The building is VERY worn and in desperate need of painting, and remodeling, huge space under the peeling painted door entrance. The Metal chairs in front of each room we’re all rusted and terribly faded with hardly any paint on them. Pics attached. If they were just invest in some paint, it wouldn’t be half as bad. Had we not gotten there so late I would’ve looked for another place to stay, but we did stay just three days and left. Definitely not the charming place, I had hoped it would have been.
Chairs were all rusted and in need of paint did not take pictures of carpet, but that needed to be replaced as well, but on a brighter note, the place was pretty clean inside just terribly dated fixtures and furniture everywhere !

The picture on the web site listed the rooms on the river-was disappointed that there were only 4 on the river. But we were lucky to get a room. We were visiting family so it wasn't far to drive. I think the room could use a bit of updating. The sofa arms were totally worn and dirty looking.

We did the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad and originally planned to drive home after. However, I was tired, so we looked for somewhere nearby for the night and found Two Rivers. Even though I made the reservation last minute they were ready for me and check-in was quick and easy. We relaxed by the river before a good nights sleep. I would stay here again.

The location was great ,between Bryson City and Cherokee. Short distance to either place. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful place on the river. Having a grill was a plus.

Before booking ratings were listed as outstanding. Better word would be adequate. Very outdated facilities. Lodge is next to a dog kennel so we were greeted each of our two mornings by a chorus of loud barking dogs at about 6 am. Dirty ashtray on the front stoop sitting area. Flimsy towels. For the price we paid for two nights it was very overpriced. Would not recommend.

There was a beautiful river in the backyard. All plumbing metalwork was rusted. Very poor lighting. Windows were painted shut. Outdoor seating was rusted. Damaged/holes in the wall.

Lovely riverfront property. Room was immaculate and it was a joy to have the river so close. There was even a covered area with firepit. The owners were on site and made us feel right at home. And the beds were super comfortable. Will come back!

We had an awesome stay at this quaint little motel that sends you back in time. The bed slept great and the room was clean. We had a huge window that looked out over the river. There is a nice covered pavilion with gliders and picnic tables, fire ring and grills right by the river for your enjoyment. Our last night there we were in the pavilion enjoying the weather and the nature sounds, when an elk walked out of the river and right past us. It was awesome. Would highly recommend. Staff is amazing and i can't wait to stay there again when we are in the area.
