The hotel is excellent - really delighted with our choice and would go back again. Lovely view across the Danube and just a few minutes walk to the Metro and the chain bridge. Great breakfast. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Overall a very underwhelming 3 night stay, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The room we stayed in was really spacious and the bed was ok but the carpet was filthy with stains all over it, the AC didn’t cool the room down, the water was cold, on a morning we were having cold shower. To get to our room there was over 5 lots of stairs, considering we had a 2 year old and lots of luggage and a pram this wasn’t ideal, on check in there was no help offered, we were told the room was only a few stairs away, s

The property was good, clean convenient, fully functional. The views were nice overall but our room was on the 2nd floor, so the trees were blocking the entire view. Also, we reserved a double room, it was a twin made into double, and the middle part of the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional but obviously old. The staff was the best! Excellent service at the front desk, very helpful. The breakfast was good!

Pros: The main selling point of this hotel is the view and its location to Buda Castle and the metro. The breakfast and staff within the breakfast areas were fabulous. Cons: The hotel in itself is average and in need of some tlc. The furnishings look very cheap and 'ikea' ish. The bathroom in the superior room was tiny and the shower leaked into the bedroom wetting the carpet. Our room wasnt vacuumed for a few days - it really should be done everyday and our sink had no plug. The side tables were ridiculous logs that could only fit a phone and nothing else. Personally, this isnt a 4* hotel
