We loved our stay at the Park Plaza! Our view over the Danube of the Parliament Building was a big plus (just a small fee to upgrade for the view) we arrived late on our first night so decided to eat in the hotel as it was one of the few places still serving, food was delicious and the drinks were too - and very reasonable. Staff in the bar were lovely and very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is in a less busy location but we liked that as less crowded. It was very handy for several bars/restaurants scattered around. A 2 minutes walk to the chain bridge, 5 mins to the funicular which is a nice way to get up to the Buda Castle district. We would definately recommend the hotel, good nights sleep in a comfy bed and we heard very little noise from other guests and the windows provided great soundproofing from the traffic and trams that were directly in front of the hotel.

Great location with a view of Parliament right out your window. Close to the metro and trams for easy commuting. Climb the stairs to the Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion. One metro stop to Parliament. The staff was a little surly; not a smile to be had. Par for the course - LOL.

Our room wasn’t that clean carpets were dirty, the voils were Filthy and the curtains . Mirrors in bedroom and bathroom weren’t clean. Just generally not cleaned properly. The corridor carpets were dirty. Bar staff were very pleasant and helpful.
