Our stay was fantastic. Receptionists all polite. Room was cleaned. Our only little concern was our last breakfast wasn't good, no much selections unlike the our first stay but can be improved. Over-all stay was great. I can't wait to come back here and recommend to all my friends and families.

Spectacular but welcoming in the best neighborhood
It’s just spectacular from the beginning to the end. Service is smooth, professional and relaxed, breakfast crowded but of consistent quality, the spa and pool are a great plus. Everything was pretty much perfect and enjoyable, the location is highly recommended to get the best of urban life in Budapest. The historic building is impressive despite the extensive and somewhat awkward reconstruction. Some refurbishment may be needed soon. I also got an upgrade and late checkout, both highly appreciated.

We went to Budapest as a birthday present for my other half. We booked a standard room but i emailed the hotel to try to arrange an upgrade to a suite or Junior suite as a surprise. No reply was forthcoming so I thought i'd discuss this on arrival. When we arrived we were told we'd been upgraded so I thought maybe they'd acted on my email but the room wasn't what I wanted so I went to reception, asked about an upgrade to a suite and to my surprise they gave us a suite at no extra charge. The Suite was fantastic, breakfast excellent and all of the staff couldn't do more for us - they were all wonderful. We were especially happy with János Babolcs in the Lobby who was the loveliest and most helpful person. We usually go for more intimate, boutique style hotels but we couldn't find one that was in the right location so we chose the Continental and we were really glad we did. For us it was a fantastic experience and one which we would wholeheartedly recommend

A nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff were helpful and the facilities were good. The only criticism would be the breakfast as there are too many people with too few tables and so it’s a bit wild. Food was nice with plenty of options.
