We booked 3 nights, first 2 nights slept at room number 212 with about 0.75 foot big concave in one side of bed. Very bad! We requested for changing room and they told us sold out. No one was immediately to help us with the problem. 3rd day morning I went to front desk and finally we got our room changed. I have been booking with Hotels.com for years and never reported any complaints. But this time I want hotel to pay us back for our damages.

Great location, you can walk pretty much everywhere! The breakfast was awesome with loads of choices, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Staff were fine, but nothing special. The rooms are tiny – okay if you’re just here for a couple of nights, but not great if you’re staying longer. There’s also no real closet space, which makes unpacking a bit tricky. The TV only had a few news channels and no option to buy or stream movies, which was disappointing. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay if you want convenience and a great breakfast.

Great Location

D8 turned out to be the ideal home base for our time in Budapest. The location couldn’t be better—you can walk to most of the city’s highlights, which made exploring incredibly easy. Our room was clean, modern, and cozy—just what we needed after full days of sightseeing. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and was a nice way to start the day. If you’re after a comfortable, well-priced hotel in a prime spot, D8 is a great choice.

Family of 3 stayed for one night. Hotel is in a great location, in a lovely part of the central city. Staff were polite and, thankfully for me, spoke perfect English. Modern design hotel. We had a family room, which had two separate double beds. Perfect for a family up to 4. Room was very quiet too

Lovely hotel, lovely location

This is a lovely hotel in a very nice central location, right by Váci Street. We were a little concerned about the noise overnight from the outside, but it was surprisingly quiet! Everything looked nice and clean and the included breakfast buffet had more choices than what we were expecting.
