It was a great experience staying at the Mövenpick hotel in Budapest. The location is great, and all public transportation is within 2 minutes' walking distance. Most of the tourist sightseeing places are 20-30 minute walking distance. The hotel staff was helpful, and the food was excellent. The only issue I had was that I was not able to find the hotel location in Apple Maps to find the directions. Overall, it is a great hotel and highly recommended. I will stay again when I come to visit Budapest next.

We have been on a 24 day trek through Europe and our last night was spent in Budapest at the Movenpick. It was by our our our favorite. The location is central to everything, the parking was in the same building, the beds were probably the most comfortable we’ve slept in in weeks, and it was quiet and clean. The front desk staff spoke English and were extremely friendly with directions and restaurant recommendations, which turned out to be fantastic as well.

Hidden Gem in Budapest

The staff was very friendly and the location is prime in Budapest for sightseeing and dining. The breakfast for $14 euros per person is top notch and the hotel dinning area is beautiful so you notice you are in Europe. The coffee is the best I tried in the whole trip that involved 5-6 hotels in different Central Europe cities. The bar is also very lively and the servers were really nice. They also have an adjacent parking for a fee.

Renovation work.

The worst stay of my life. It was torture. I stayed there 3 years ago, the decor was dated then. Much improved now but the renovations we ongoing and directly above my floor. There was constant drilling from 11am such that one couldn't have a conversation or watch a movie with noise cancelling headphones. It was impossible to sleep during the day afyer being out all night. Only one lift worked by the end of the weekend. It would have been nice to message me before the booking with an option to cancel which i would. Breakfast was ok.
