Pictures are deceiving

Pictures are deceiving. First off AC did not work, room was 85 degrees inside started to cool down after opened windows and door. Picture is after temp started to cool down. Out of 4 elevators two worked and one’s permit expired next day. Never answered emails prior to stay. Parking lot is questionable. Was almost empty with guests, that should have been first clue! Most of place was closed to what looked like extensive remode but didn’t look any work had been done anytime recently. Place looks like was on verge of being condemned and parts were kept opened. I could go on, but this is reminder to check all reviews.

When we walked into the room it smelled like smoke and it’s a nonsmoking facility. Phone had missing buttons. Top to the sink faucet came off. Could not get extra bedding for sofa bed, They could only provide 1 sheet til the next morning when housekeeping came in. Found a roach in the restroom. Privacy latch on the door was broken. 2 of the 4 elevators were not working. My child tried sleeping on the sofa part but said it was too itchy. We decided to move to another hotel and they didn’t refund us the other 2 days because it was booked through a 3rd party although when I spoke to the manager Emanuel, he stated they would. Oh the TV didn’t work. It had lines on it. One of my girls wouldn’t dare shower and my other said she felt unsafe. These are teenagers we’re talking about. Orbitz was no help in getting me a refund. I checked in around 2 am on Saturday morning and checked out at 1 pm and still got charged all 3 days.

When we first got to the hotel our room was on the fourth floir and key card did not work so i went to front desk and they moved us to 3rd floor. The room was good but fridge did not work no remote to tv and limited channels. Every 2-3 days needed to get keycard activated to get back in. All in all not a bad place to stay. Close to attractions whichbis a bonus.

I’ve stayed at this location multiple times and in my honest opinion I’d give it a 7.2 out of 10, It’s has great things I appreciate the rooms have great space , lighting and a home like atmosphere. The exterior need repairs and is a bit outdated but that also works in its favor. They’re under going refurbishment which is a great sign and I’m excited for future bookings.
