I recently stayed this hotel near Knott's Berry Farm, and my experience was a mix of positives and negatives. On the positive side, the bed was firm and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after long days of activities. The air conditioning worked efficiently, keeping the room cool and comfortable, which was a relief during the warm weather. Additionally, the hotel’s location was excellent, within walking distance of Knott's Berry Farm, making it convenient for visitors who prefer not to drive. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Although they typically require a $100 cash security deposit (they don’t accept cards for this), the staff member was kind enough to waive it since I didn’t have cash on hand. However, there were several areas where the hotel fell short. The refrigerator in the room was missing all its shelves, significantly limiting its usability. The room door had multiple issues: there was no top lock for added security, and a noticeable gap at the bottom of the door compromised privacy and insulation. The toilet lid was in poor condition, with extensive burn and scratch marks, which was unappealing and gave a neglected impression. Cleanliness was another concern, as there were ants in the room. The sink and countertop were in poor condition, with missing knobs and visible damage, making it difficult to use comfortably. The curtains were broken, affecting both privacy and light control.
