The staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location is nice, not far from downtown Salida. If staying just a couple nights, would recommend.

Nice motel for the price!
The room was updated and clean, we had an amazing Mountain view! Comfy beds and pillows. Having the Continental breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We left an item behind and the staff was kind enough to call us and let us know. The historic downtown is probably 6 blocks of shops, restaurants, coffee shops. It was nice spending the day just shopping and getting lunch / coffee. We drove 20+ minutes away to Mount Princeton for the hot springs. Loved it! Wanted to go to St. Elmo's ghost town but ran out of time.

Don’t go here. Poor girl running the office was having a very difficult time. She said all the issues were because I booked through Expedia. I did try to call for an early check in because their check in is 4:00 pm, lol. No one answered so I just drive up and went in. Poor girl.

My wife and I are frequent visitors of Salida do to having passes for monarch, the stay here is always clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here.

I like a firm bed. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped. I asked for a tall toilet with grab bars. I guess they didn't have these. If accessibility is needed call before booking. Be specific as to what is needed.
