Hotel is beautiful - so much charm and character. Staff however not so much. Cold, indifferent and at times standoffish. Used BA as home base while exploring Uruguay, Paraguay and Patagonia. Unfortunately my first 10 mins in room toilet broke the staff seemed to insinuate I did so which was not the case. I had to repack everything and move rooms. From there it went downhill which ironically I was gone most of the time - see above. I would say that food was decent but for the attitude of the staff there are WAY better options in Palermo. I’m sure those places will appreciate your business.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of boutique shops and restaurants. The hotel had lots of open spaces to work, enjoy a glass of wine or lay in the sun.

What a lovely stay we had at Hotel Costa Rica! The room was comfortable, and the common areas were cute and inviting. All the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Excellent hotel in Palermo for the price

Super hotel for the price. Bathroom was large and shower worked great. The light wasn't really strong, so shaving was difficult. The heater worked well but was noisy. I was also at the front of the property and the traffic was noisy because it's in a cobble street. Luckily there were not many cars in the wee hours. Staff were all very welcoming, helpful, and friendly.

BEST HOTEL IN ARGENTINA. This was the nicest place I stayed in a month of travelling around Argentina. Clean, nice rooms, great aircon. Simple and basic, but inclusive breakfast for all guests. Jan and his team run a tight ship. Friendly helpful staff. Great location in beautiful safe Palermo. Good restaurants close by Gorgeous roof terrace for chilled relaxing evenings too. I would definitely recommending spending a few dollars more for one of the nicer larger rooms with high ceilings, and en suite bathroom. Most rooms have en suite anyway. Well worth it

Hotel Costa Rica gets an 11 on a scale of 10!! We absolutely recommend to ANYONE. Hotel staff went above and beyond to help us with everything from directions to straightening out a booking situation gone terribly wrong. Antonio, Mariana and Franco were our guardian angels!

Basic property but in a great location. Room was small but was as described. Included breakfast was a disappointment being mostly pastries and bread. Check-out was 10am, which is absurdly early. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly enough. If you are just looking for a place to store your stuff and sleep for a short stay, this place is fine.
