Needs improvement

Location is great. We got a room on the 4th floor with a view to the park and the Palacio Paz. However, the level of noise from the street is annoying. Early in the morning trucks park in front of the hotel to load boxes in and out of Palacio Paz for at least one hour. Our bed was two twin beds but together and without enough blankets or covers. During the night, you could hear a pumping noise coming from somewhere in the hotel. There was not hot water in the shower. The blackout curtains did not work properly. As in any hotel, I was expecting complimentary water bottles in the room for arriving guests, but no. Breakfast is included, but be ready to have breakfast in a room full of picnic tables and convention chairs.

This property was perfect for our stay in Buenos Aires. It is close to many things, so it is walkable. The staff was very accommodating as they spoke both English and Spanish. They helped us with anything we needed.

The hotel building has history all to itself, and right next-door to the military museum. There are some vagrants around the park, which is pretty much standard anywhere in the world. I’ll be back in Buenos Aires next week and I will be staying at this hotel again. Very good value for the price paid. The front desk staff of Luca, Anabella and Martina are are bi/multi-lingual, were friendly and always helpful. Luca saved me a big problem by thinking ahead for me and checking on a reservation for a ride to a restaurant show. If he had not done that I would’ve been late for my event. It has a good breakfast and the restaurant staff keeps everything very clean and quickly clears tables. It is the exact same offerings every day, which was my only negative as I was there for five days. But there are plenty of coffee shops, and restaurants within just a few blocks if desired. Towels and sheets were spotless and bright white, a bed that was comfortable and the room was very clean.
