Used only for breakfast and sleeping. Went for work. Easy access to subway. Quiet area, but many homeless in the neighborhood.Anyhow i was safe. only 3 to 4 block away from the Corrientes theater district.

Perfect hotel for one night in Buenos Aires Spacious room, comfy bed and a lovely breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price! Close to the centre and a short walk to Recoletta. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I arrived early at close to 8am in the morning after a 13-hour flight. It must have shown on my face, the jet lagged and wariness. The reception was only too kind to upgrade me into a suite with no questions asked. Absolutely made my day and trip even more memorable!

Hotel staff (I can't name one person as we dealt with multiple people) exceeded our expectations in multiple situations: recommending and booking shows, calling taxis (ex. transfer to EZEIZA airport with fixed rate less than ARS300). Breakfast ok. The smallest elevator I ever used-max 2 person. However I didn't wait to much time to get one like in other hotels with bigger elevators. Maybe because there are 3 elevators.

Sarmiento Palace Hotel
We received a cold unwelcome look when we entered the hotel. The elevators will only hold two persons. Our room was very small and had a smell of mildew. We found mole around the bedroom window. Street traffic was very loud all night. The shower pan in the bathroom had mole and mildew around it also. The shower pan was also leaking. I asked to be moved to another room and they changed our room.
