I would recommend staying at comfort inn. It is a simple and clean hotel. You can notice staff constantly going around cleaning in the main areas.

Not a pleasant experience.Glad it was a short stay
I travelled with my family but was sort of disappointed with the property. Some of the electrical outlets were not working. There was no drinking water in the room. Breakfast had no options. Just some bagels to heat with a broken toaster and huge line up for the same as nothing else was available (in vegetarian) . Apple juice was too much diluted with ice that it tasted more like water than a juice. No hot water available in the shower.

Stayed two nights with two children. Overall it’s decent for a quick stay. Breakfast was good. Good options each morning. Pool area was semi clean. Moss growing on floor Rooms were just ok. Floors were dirty. Bathroom overall could do with an upgrade or update. Room was not dusty however carpets could do with a replace. You get what you pay for. Affordable option for quick stay

The biggest pro about this property was that it’s only 3 minutes from the hotel. So it was super convenient. Now the 2 biggest cons. The shower was dirty and it didn’t drain. I had to take a quick shower so I wasn’t standing in water. The A/C made a horrible noise. It was a high pitch noise that happened the entire night. The only way to make it stop was to turn it off. But it was to stuffy and hot to do that.

Me and my friend booked the hotel for a weekend getaway and got in late on a Friday night. We checked in, went to our room and immediately were greeted with an awful smell. To be completely honest, it smelt like poop. As well as, the room was not very clean. Upon looking around the room, nothing was left behind that would be causing that smell so I proceeded to call the front desk. The employee who picked up the phone told me they were sold out for the night so he wasn’t sure what they could do for me. I was put on hold for a couple minutes and then a different employee picked up the phone and asked what the problem was, so I proceeded to tell him and I said I’m not sure what the solution could be at this point because we cannot sleep in here and your other employee told me you guys are sold out for the night. I also said, If we are able to be moved I booked for two queen beds and I would like the exact same room I booked. He told me that’s where it would be tricky and before I could even respond he had a different room ready for us to move into. I thought you were sold out? Anyways, we were moved and there was no smell in this room thank goodness but still for over $200 CAD a night this hotel was not worth it. The shower curtain was so thin and cheap that when you shower you’re left with water all over the floor and no fan in the bathroom to regulate how hot it gets in there while you’re showering. And again, the cleanliness was just not up to par.

The staff was great but the property itself definitely needs updates and some new cleaning protocols. The bed has clean sheets and pillowcases but there were many layers of other bedding that hung out all over the rest of the bed. Needs more attention to the details.
