I bought a room for my girlfriend as she was traveling to Buffalo for business. The criminals at this hotel threw my girlfriend out onto the street at 10:30 at night due to their policies on check-in ages. This probably wouldn’t have been a problem except for the fact that they refused to refund my money, so they denied me the service that I paid for then took my money and ran. When I spoke to the night manager (Autumn? Aubrey? Something like that) she told me there was nothing she could do about the age policy (which seems ridiculous, but fine, policy is policy) and that she would be happy to issue a refund once I submitted a case with hotels.com She lied. The Curtiss took my money and ran and denied the refund after throwing my girlfriend out into the street after a stressful 6 hour journey because she was 2 days younger than the minimum checkin age. If they had simply thrown her out and refunded the money? This review wouldn’t have been written. Do not stay here. This place is run by thieves

Beautiful classy hotel in the heart of Buffalo. Gorgeous rooms, breakfast included, nice spa and hot springs pool. The room was lovely and very comfortable. My only complaint was there was no stuffed chair or loveseat.

Awesome place! My only real complaint is the “continental” breakfast. It’s little more than pastries and coffee and the coffee was weak at best. They appear to want you to order breakfast so they make it unappealing for the “free” one. At over $250/night in Buffalo, NY, I would expect a little more. As for the rooms…awesome! My significant other could not stop raving about the bathroom and more specifically the toilet! lol. We also arrived around midnight and the desk attendant had to read us the amenities and things about the hotel. He did not seem to know much about the property or area. I suspect he was not given a lot of training. All-in-all, still a 5 star experience and we will go back!
