Family funeral pitstop

We were blessed to get our rooms early that we paid extra for. The beds were wonderful and clean. We did have some crazy neighbors but were able to avoid her. Could do better with the breakfast.

The property was very clean. Beds were not so comfortable. Mattress sat on a spring support which squeaked horribly every time you moved. Sheets were uncomfortable. Pilling noted.

Antwon was very helpful and checked us in quickly.He ensured that the breakfast area was well-stocked and clean while also attending to guests checking in and out. His hard work is evident in the effort he puts into all of his roles there. He even made popcorn at 2:00PM which was a nice touch! Overall, it was a pleasant stay while visiting Buffalo State University.

The staff was very friendly, the area seemed safe, the room was clean and fine for a budget traveler and having fruit, juice, coffee, cocoa, muffins and coffee available 24/7 was a blessing. The building itself was not bad but could use a little TLC: 1. The lobby had a weird odor that was not smelled in the rooms. It’s like water damage, or poor air circulation, or just old building materials that was covered up by heavy purfumey air freshener… not sure but something smells like that small area of the hotel needs a repair or an Hvac upgrade. Its not terrible but noticeable. 2. The carpet in the hallways is in need of replacement and/or a deep cleaning. It was noticeably dirty and worn. Otherwise, the people were friendly, the room was older but clean. It is fine for the budget traveler who needs a place to sleep.

This hotel is fine for a quick 1 night stay. Not many amenities, couldn’t find the gym. The room itself was very dark. The A/C unit was not keeping the room cool, although set to 63 degrees. Bedding was scratchy. Shower had nice soaps but water pressure was either a jet or a sprinkle. Would not stay here for multiple days.

Try getting a room without a conjoined room—one with a door between them. We were kept up all night because of loud voices and 2 sex starved maniacs. That’s all.
