Decent hotel and much better the second time around. I stayed there 2 years ago and wasn’t impressed but the hotel has made some renovations and the quality of the room was much better. If you don’t get a room with a view you may be looking at a parking lot and the room has a ton of black going on but all in all it is much better !

AC issues

Room was nice. AC wasn’t working very good. Room never got down to the desired temp. Could have to do with the common areas not being cool either. This is a major issue for us. Would rather stay in a less expensive lower class of hotel to be comfortable when in the room trying to sleep. Have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the years but stayed somewhere else close by recently and slept better.

Long weekend in Burlington

We had a nice stay for our long weekend in Burlington. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to relax along the waterfront, bike ride on the path or visit the local shops and restaurants. No need for a car if you are mobile. Very nice coffee machine provided in the lobby area of our second floor room. The bartender at The Original Skiff ( on site), was amazing. Very knowledgeable and tended to everyone in a friendly and professional manner. He knew everything about cocktails. A few things we thought could be improved. The elevator was very slow and we ended up using the stairs many times. Be aware that the parking $16/day fee is not included in the hefty fees they charge so my bill was $50 more than anticipated. We also ended up with a parking ticket in their garage which I’m hoping they rectifying as I’m waiting to hear. There is a very nice outdoor area with chairs tables and hammocks set up to lounge around. They need umbrellas as it gets direct sunlight most of the day making it impossible to sit there on warm days. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Solid stay

Common areas and lobby were really nice. Parking is very convenient and reasonably priced. Room condition was average, and our bathroom was very average. Property has clearly been around for a while, and could tell they have reinvested in the lobby and bar areas, not so much in the rooms. Location was perfect.

Traveling as a Family of 5, we appreciated the little touches like the hammocks in the hotel’s courtyard and the giant chess set on the balcony. The indoor pool was quite small so we skipped the pool. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! All in all, it was a great stay — However, we weren’t expecting an additional charge of $35 per room as a resort fee.

Fantastic location and hotel.

Great location! Premium lake view is worth the upgrade. It is on floor 6 or 7 so you can see over the trees to view all of Lake Champlain! LOVED this hotel. Great amenities, gym, pool, restaurants, close to water and bike path and downtown is an easy walk.

We only stayed for the weekend, but the staff were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The area around the hotel is full of small shops, restaurants, pubs. Everything is also walking distance meaning you can leave your car at the hotel.

We booked a King bed, Lake View room. When we checked in we asked if there were any rooms that also had a bath tub. I wish the front desk had let us know that while we could have a bathtub, the view would be less Lake. See pic for the “lake view” which was not exactly what we had imagined when we booked it.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a great view. It’s a good location too, and the rooms are very clean. I didn’t like the 28 dollar resort fee each day, and there were only a few men’s bikes available, so we couldn’t bike.

Room was fine. I stay here every 5-6 weeks for business. Requested a room with a particular view. Which I always stay in. Several rooms were available with the same bed selection I paid for. Staff at check made it a hassle and upcharged me significantly for my usual room. Then gave me the wrong room which I had to go back down and correct because it was one with out the view I just requested and paid for. This nickel and dime attitude is annoying and if a neighboring solution becomes available I seriously am considering taking my repeat business there.
