The Essex Resort & Spa offers 120 accommodations with iPod docking stations and safes. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. It truly felt like a resort the way the staff treated us. We were greeted and given a map of the property and a rundown of all the amenities there. We ate at both the Tavern and Junction which were delicious. We got a massage at the Spa which was incredible too. I can’t wait to go again soon!

Very clean. Stayed with two young children under 3. The pool was very nice. Beautiful outdoor spaces , plus playground across the street was a nice bonus. 24hr café , option to take out food from the resto and complementary s’mores kits, helped us make the most of our stay at this beautiful resort.

We stayed at the Essex for a quick getaway right after our wedding and it was everything we needed and hoped for. Quiet, relaxing, and convenient with all of the on site amenities. I got a massage at the spa and it truly was life saving for my post-wedding sore bod. Dining at the Tavern was a highlight with excellent service and top notch food! We would love to come back sometime and stay longer to enjoy all the area has to offer!

The property is relatively nice.The assigned room was generous in size and clean. The bathroom was small with no space to place bath items. We were booked for 3 nights. Our room overlooked a parking lot which was disappointing for Vermont. The building was housing a company retreat daily. The open-air lobby was a site for meetings. Conversation began around 7:30 am which was loud and not ideal for rest. Housekeeping failed to show up one day and when called, it required 45 minutes to receive towels. All-in-all, disappointing at $300 per night. The spa massage was excellent.

The property is beautiful, the staff went out of their way to be helpful and couldn't have been nicer. The pools, spa, workout room, hot tub, feeding the goats, smores around the outdoor fire, the tavern. All good!! Would stay there again for sure.

Property was nice and quiet. Had reservations for the junction elevated food, was garbage. Duck was great. That’s it. Chicken dish was worst chicken dish ever. Looked boiled. So disappointed. Good at the lazy goat also inside much better, staff was great there. Don’t go to junction for dinner just stick with the lazy goat.
