Room was clean but it was rather sparten in items generally expected. No hair dryer, no coffee maker, no outlets to plug in electronics in the main room much less around the bed. The TV monitor seemed to be working, but the system was difficult to understand. However, for the price we decided not to complain. Not what was expected for a Red Lion branded product.

The place was smelling so bad right when you stepped inside the door at the counter. The front desk guy was so unprofessional and not friendly at all. The room was smell and no AC. They left the window open to get the odor out but it still smells. I would not stay here again and suggested the travelers stay away from this property. I wouldn’t give it a star but have no other choice.

The room was very small and had not been updated for a long time. When I made the reservation at a Red Lion Inn I thought that the facility would be top notch, but not here. The bed was not comfortable at all and the metal frame squeaked every time that you moved. The window shade was broken and I could not get it to close all the way. I Had to wear earplugs and eye shades just to get some sleep. I would not recommend this Red Lion Inn in Butte, MT
