The property is clean and staff polite. The food was good at some restaurants and not good at others. I loved that food was available pool side for lunch. The resort lacked a coffee shop or place to get snacks between meals. It is a very low key resort and definitely brings in an older crowd. Most of our group became very ill either while at the resort, or on the way home. I’m assuming that we all have food poisoning. My diamond earrings and shoes went missing from our room, and when I asked about it they did not seem to care at all/the response was odd. We mentioned it to them twice in which we got a, “yes sir. I understand sir.” Which was not a response I would expect when a guest is missing an expensive item(s). Overall we had a good time, but would recommend bringing snacks and leaving valuable items at home.

I travelled for one week with my 8yo son. The studio was spotless and fully equipped with more than we needed. Food options a la carte were outstanding including for my son. I was not expecting the food quality and options to be so good. The beach is gorgeous and very swimable for us. Staff were delightful and helped with everything we needed. Nice central location close to downtown but far enough away to be quiet. Very convenient for surfing day trips to Cerritos and Costa Azul. Outstanding overall.

This resort was exactly what we were looking for to relax, enjoy the ocean and the wonderful views from the deck. The service is great with kudos to Mario, Andres, and many others. The food is 7/10 with many options between the properties. The room was good enough but most of our time was spent outside anyway. The demographic of the hotel during our stay was older 55 with only a few families.

We had an amazing time at Villa Del Arco. It was in front of the swimmable beach, close to downtown, and offered great restaurants, amenities, shows, games, and service. Such a beautiful location and fun experience. HUGE shout outs to Elisabeth, Angelica and Gloria at Patron. They were so kind, fun, and full of energy. Also, Manuel, Eddi, Gaby, Mario, JoseLuis, Lupita, Susana, Margarita, and Estrella. These staff went above and beyond in all their hard work.
