We loved the spa amenities connected to this hotel. We made use of the hot tub, the sauna, and the steam room. The hotel had beautiful views and the meals we ate at both the bar and the restaurant were fantastic. The room we had did not have air conditioning but we were there in the fall so it was not required, however, if I was coming in the summer I would definitely want to make sure I had a room with AC. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Clean rooms. Would stay again.

Great Spot! Great for our group of 9....

Would recommend if looking for accommodation slightly out of town. Super well equipped and clean. Nice well equipped kitchen if required.

A very nice place to stay, especially as we were in the old part of the property which has loads of character. We had a big, comfortable room with sitting area. I particularly liked that the TV was hidden away behind doors so did not intrude it's presence into the room. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is first rate. One down side is that, surprisingly, there is no kettle in the room and ordering hot water or tea from downstairs is tedious and inconvenient. The other minor issue that we had was that the option I chose to book specifically included free parking which implies that there would be parking reserved for me as it was include in my room description. This turned out not to be the case and the small car park was already full. This all got sorted out by the helpful front of house people but it was another irritation that took the shine off a very pleasant visit.

Very practical and close to thw c centre

Everything was really great. Except the parking situation. It was terrible and costly.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars except for the fact the morning staff would not let let me have a cup of coffee at 6 am. I don't think that this was an unreasonable request since all the other 3 star hotels that I have stayed during this vacation have given me coffee prior to the breakfast hours.
