The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

The staff was absolutely perfect! Antonio upgraded our room to a beautiful room with an amazing view, and he even gave us a ride to downtown in his car. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel — everything was excellent!

Good breakfast variety considering the hotel is quite small. Free shuttle timetable from the hotel which you could book on to at short notice to get in and back from Sorrento. Good room size and amenities - dressing gown and slippers were a lovely touch. Staff spoke brilliant English and were very helpful via WhatsApp. Hotel guests had access to sunbeds for free everyday with towels and a bottle of water. If you are there early enough, you could get one of the pool front beds. Only suggestion would be to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room everyday rather than having to rely on the minibar.

Hotel Pellegrino is absolutely outstanding. I would have given it 6 stars if it was possible. The staff are sone of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They don’t make a big enough deal of the pick up and drop off service that they do around the local area, it is impossible to get around by car as parking in the local area is so difficult, so the hotel gladly drop you off and pick you up, as needed for free. Not all of the hotels do this. Really nothing was too much trouble - an amazing family business. 10/10 I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in that area
