Our room was right on the beach — beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located. If I had to be particular, it was slightly dated, but certainly nothing that would deter me from staying here again. The pool area was spotless and absolutely stunning. We’ll definitely be back!

It was lovely being so close to the beach and eateries. So great to have such a beautiful pool and surrounds. And our room was in a quiet spot. Very relaxing.

All fantastic thank you. Started well with our room being ready when we arrived at 10.00am, the pool and surrounds were clean and tidy. Nice quiet place after sunset, no noisy guests. Ended well with an extra hour for late checkout which meant that we could get a final walk in. A great place to stay for a week and get some tropical relaxment.

Due to a flight cancellation, I required an overnight stay, booked the property at 3pm. For $390pn it was a big let down. Room fixtures were dated and in need of a paint or replacement. The room was dark and had noise from above. Definitely not worth $390 for one night.

LOVE Palm Cove

I always stay at Mantra Amphora Palm Cove, I’ve never tried anywhere else as always happy there. Having said that, the quality of the room/apartment on each visit has been a mixed bag. The one bedroom apartment, 815A, was outstanding! Poolside no less! It could have been a tad cleaner, but the bed was super comfy, it had a full sized kitchen and plenty of lounges and a dining table. Also well stocked with crockery and utensils. Palm Cove is gorgeous, beach across the road and loads of amazing restaurants to choose from. There is a frequent bus service to and from the city if required. Word of advice, if self catering there is a small local supermarket but HUGELY expensive! I saw loads of Mantra holiday makers having online food delivery from Coles and would do the same next time. Hope this is helpful!

Wouldn’t recommend, and this place was not a “4 star” hotel. Was meant to be an ocean view room, all we had a view of was the back service area of the restaurant next door. The air con didn’t work properly, the toilet seat was broken and the bathroom extremely rusty and grotty. Despite being a “hotel room” and not an apartment set up there was no daily servicing of the room.

There is no service after check in. Do not expect help with your luggage. There is no room service of the bed linen etc unless you stay for 8 days or more. If you have mobility issues check which level you’re on as there are no lifts. Pool is nice.

Great pool area n surrounds Quietness, super king bed was so comfortable . Closeness to beach as on esplanade. Easy walk to fabulous restaurants n cafes . Just needs a TV in bedroom .
