I was very impressed by this hotel. The pictures do not do it justice, it is in a perfect spot to walk to all the action in 2 mins but off to the side so it stayed quiet and reserved. The room was beautiful and perfect. I arrived at an odd hour and had to leave at an odd hour and the front desk was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

It was my second time staying in this hotel after 16 years. We had a great time at our One bedroom suite & Executive Marina View Suite. Check In was smooth, all the staff were so helpful. We enjoyed the food and the peace at the Horizon Club. Breakfast at the Backyard was a plus with a wide range of varieties. The only down side was the first night after we checked-in, the whole city of Cairns had a power shortage. We were stuck in the hotel lobby for about two hours. It was frustrating as we never knew if the power would be back. Was abit disappointed that no other alternatives were being offered by the hotel at that point. But I really much appreciated that the staff came to us proactively for a chat and offered us some water, while they were all sweating. They still remained professional and calm. Thanks to the team, especially Mr. Ivan. We definitely would come back if we visit Cairns again.

Location of the hotel was great for where we wanted to be. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Room was spacious and nice bathroom. Nice restaurants around to choose from off the marina. Would have been nice to have breakfast included but the buffet was very good.
