Very nice hotel! Rooms are modern, clean, and very spacious. The location is convenient, walkable and with many dining options nearby. The only downside is the absence of a refrigerator in the room, but other than that, it is a great place to stay.

As someone who stays in different hotels almost every week due to work, it's pretty difficult to find anything remarkable about most hotels these days. The Alt, however is definitely worthy of mention. The room was large and well planned/executed. The facilities were all clean, fresh and new and worked as you would hope/expect. The shower was spacious and included good quality toiletries. I particularly liked the fox image on the shower screen. The reception staff also deserve a special shout out. Extremely welcoming, helpful and courteous (with a cheeky sense of humour too). Our room maid was also very friendly and helpful (supplying us with specialty tea.... Hush hush say no more) Great location so close to the riverside walk and in the heart of the East village it's hard to fault it in any way.
