Great location and amenities. The pool, restaurant and breakfast were perfect for a bunch of dance families who needed a nice sleep for the few nights of our competition. The area around seems a little sketchy with Crowchild and 16th right outside but that also makes for great access to other parts of Calgary. The service staff were INCREDIBLE

Liked and disliked open courtyard/atrium. Liked visually and ambiance but disliked noise propagation especially when busy or have major group events. Perhaps some noise absorbing materials could be used, especially in higher levels so that noise in atrium didn't keep bouncing around all the walls. Prices in convenience store are extremely high (eg $7 for a single bag of Lays chips that normally retails for about half that cost or less)
