Horrible! Location Felt unsafe - on skid row! Pre booked 2 nights and did not stay - didn’t even care that I already paid and was not refunded. Building was so old and gross.

Not one thing good about this hotel. I’ve seen much cheaper locations an and better conditions. Only stay here if you absolutely have to. The hot tub was closed (had been for many years), the pool didn’t look enticing. The carpets throughout the entire building not only looked like a brothel was the main reason why you were there, but, when I asked for an extra pillow, and since I checked in at 7pm, I was told to wait until 9am the next day because the “housekeeper staff” wasn’t there. REALLY?

Got information from hotels app. Got to the hotel and there was no rooms. Was stranded in Calgary struggling to find a hotel all together as everywhere was fully booked. Was very angry as I booked a week in advance to the trip.

I checked in on Monday evening. Went to work on Tuesday, upon returning to my room at 5:30 pm, the room had not been serviced. Asked at the front desk and they said that it was a mistake and the room would be cleaned on Wednesday. Returned from work on Wednesday and the room still wasn’t cleaned. Same desk clerk told me I had to request cleaning in the morning. Thursday morning on my way out, I requested that the room get serviced. Arrived back from work Thursday evening and still no cleaning. By now, the garbages are overflowing, there’s a damp pile of towels in the corner of the bathroom and no apology from staff.

READ HOTEL REVIEWS, lesson learned, especially when booking a non-refundable room! Very dirty, door to deck only thing holding it was a piece of trim, door jam had previously been destroyed. Went out and bought Lysol disinfectant wipes to wipe down surfaces. Toilet seat was disgusting, tub looked dirty, carpet and walls were gross. Definitely needs an overhaul, reminded us of hotels you see on scary movies. We had booked for 2 nights and only stayed one, found a different hotel for the 2nd night. I think it recently changed from The Ramada, so hopefully they do plan on renovating as it’s in a good location.
